3 Steps to a Quick & Sucessful Launch

PHASE 1
GATHER CONTENT

After a Consultation Call, you’ll receive a Welcome Packet that walks you through gathering your content, images, brand info, etc.

Don’t worry. It’s fairly straightforward and easy, and you’ll be given guidance for the process!

PHASE 2
DESIGN & DEVELOP

The Website Build begins with the Project Kick-Off Call. We will review the content you gathered and discuss your vision/wants/needs.

By the end of the week, you will receive a first draft of the site and you’ll provide feedback. Then I’ll refine the site per your requests.

PHASE 3
TRAINING & SUPPORT

Right before we launch, you’ll receive a 1.5-hour Training Call that will be recorded and available to you.

You will also receive 2 weeks of support. After that, hourly services will be available for future updates.

Answers to your Questions

  • Squarespace is the best option for most small business owners. It’s a proven powerhouse when it comes to ease-of-use, security, and SEO. With the platform being continuously monitored and improved, it requires NO manual updates (unlike Wordpress). Yearly costs are competitively low and the interface is gorgeous, providing a user experience that will catapult your business’s website to a professional level.

  • The website build process typically takes three to four weeks. To help keep things on track, we'll establish an organized timeline prior to the project start date. I’ll be working with you one-on-one and prioritizing your project within my schedule.

  • All your content, including website copy, images, and brand assets (logo, etc.) needs to be provided at least 1-week BEFORE your project start date. Once you’ve submitted the deposit payment, you’ll receive a planning guide and timeline to begin brainstorming and organizing your website content.

  • When you book with me, you'll receive my website content workbook that will help you brainstorm and write the content for your website, guiding you through the standard website pages. I will likely do some light content editing based on my experience and work with you on the fine-tuning. If you need the services of a professional copywriter, I will be happy to provide a reference.

  • Consider investing in a brand photo shoot well ahead of your website project - I’m happy to make a recommendation! If a custom photoshoot isn’t in the budget, we can comb through stock image resources to select brand-appropriate photos. I include 5 stock images in the website package.

  • All websites include best-practice SEO techniques. If you require additional, targeted, or ongoing SEO services I would recommend getting in touch with an SEO expert for specialized help specific to your business goals.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking and your Project Start Date. The remaining 50% is due on the scheduled launch date of your website.
